Hanuman Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt educational and service organization established in 1974 in order to help “promulgate spiritual well-being among members of society through community service, humanitarian assistance, education and programs that support practical applications of cultural and spiritual perspectives, understanding and knowledge.”
The Foundation’s programs encompass engagement in areas impacting individual and community health, public education, environmental sustainability, climate change, cultural preservation, food sustainability, disaster and emergency relief, the healing arts, and sciences. As well, the Foundation oversees and operates a multimedia educational and publications arm, Hanuman Foundation Publishing (aka, Hanuman Foundation Book Project) established in 1974.
The organization was founded based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, a renowned Elder-mystic from northern India whose fundamental teachings focused on, “Love and serve everyone” and “Love and feed people.”
